Newcastle — The Camden Hills wrestling team continued its winning ways in a tri-meet at Newcastle Dec. 19, earning dual-meet team victories over Morse of Bath and host Lincoln Academy.
The Windjammers remain unbeaten on the year, at 11-0, besting the Shipbuilders 75-6 and prevailing 60-18 over the Eagles.
The individual results from the Camden Hills Dec. 19 meet, with Windjammer wrestlers listed first, were:
106 pounds — Hilary Merrifield was pinned by Kyle Bonti, Mor; and was pinned by Mark Zaccadelli, LA.
113 pounds — James Archer won by forfeit over Morse and Lincoln Academy.
120 pounds — John Underhill pinned Cody Marenius, Mor; and won by forfeit over Lincoln Academy.
126 pounds — Chris Weiss won by forfeit over Morse; and pinned Lucas Verrier, L.A.
132 pounds — Marty Farrell won by forfeit over Morse; and pinned Morgan Achorn, L.A.
