Two new board members join Coastal Mountains Land Trust
Camden — Coastal Mountains Land Trust announces the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors: retired business executive Malcolm White of Rockport and Camden realtor Valerie Foster.
Longtime stewardship volunteer with the Land Trust, White brings many years of executive leadership skills to the Board. In 2016 he was awarded the land trust's annual Zwartjes Award recognizing outstanding volunteer service and commitment to the Land Trust. White has been involved in one way or another — as steward, team leader and docent — for nearly 30 years. He loves being in the outdoors and knowing that many of these beautiful mountains and shores are being protected forever.
A life-long interest in period architecture and design attracted Foster to her career in real estate with Sotheby's International Realty. She moved to Maine from Connecticut in 1999 with her family in search of "the way life should be" and is very happy she did. As well as being a terrific place to raise her children, she enjoys the day-to-day lifestyle surrounded by beautiful vistas and the warmth of small town life.
