Toy Library reopens for season
Rockland — The Toy Library Center, currently located at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Rockland, is celebrating its 43rd year.
It will reopen for the fall/winter semester Thursday, Sept. 11, at 9 a.m.
The program is inclusive of everyone. The setting is informal in the sunny Parlor and Parish Hall where children birth to 5 years of age learn to use creative toys in a group setting and to cooperate with one another. The lending library offers a wide selection of reference books and children as well as parents can borrow books, videos and toys to take home. Fun and exciting monthly programs are being planned throughout the year. Find them on Facebook.
The program is open Thursday and Friday mornings, from 9 a.m. to noon.
