Toy Drive under way at South School
Rockland — South School is lending a hand to Nicole Murchison, the organizer of a toy drive for the families of people recently laid off by Lincoln Paper and Tissue.
The holidays are a terrible time to be without a job and the South School Community hopes that Rockland residents could donate a new or gently used toy to help with this effort, according to a news release from the school.
There are only a few days left before Christmas, so time is of the essence. Donations can be left at South School up until Friday, Dec. 20.
South School also sends its deepest gratitude to Planet Toy and The Grasshopper Shop for their donations to this effort.
