Camden — Local dance company Kinetic Energy Alive is preparing another annual show that addresses important social issues through movement. “Power Performance: Legacy Rising" will be presented Friday and Saturday, April 4 and 5, at 7 p.m. in the Strom Auditorium of Camden Hills Regional High School in Rockport.

The subject of this year’s production is to raise awareness of the effects of bullying and addiction on youth, adults, communities and the world. A trailer recently uploaded to YouTube shows some of the works in progress. A link to that video is available on the dance company’s website, kineticenergyalive.com.

Tickets are on sale at HAV II in Camden or by calling 975-4450. They are $15 in advance and will be $17 at the door. For more information, contact director Kea Tesseyman at kineticenergyalive@gmail.com.
