Thomaston — The Thomaston Police Department responded to 73 incidents from Jan. 7 to 13, including 16 traffic stops.

Jan. 7

Randee Billings, 41, of Cushing was cited for failure to show proof of insurance.

Wesleigh Miller, 38, of Warren was arrested for operating under the influence.

John J. Grossbaum, 76, of Spruce Head was cited for speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Chief Haj's tip of the week: With a number of walk-in thefts in the area, remember to lock doors when you leave.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
