Thomaston — The Thomaston Police Department responded to 186 incidents from Nov. 5 to Nov. 18, including 41 traffic stops.

Nov. 3

Macenzie Kelly, 19, of Rockland was cited for consumption of liquor by a minor.

Caleb Madore, 18, of Thomaston was arrested for violating a condition of release.

Nov. 6

Racheal Spofford, 23, of Waldoboro was cited for an inspection violation.

Kathy Maynard, 56, of Rockland was cited for failure to show proof of insurance.

Samuel Atwood, 45, of Thomaston was cited for operating without a license, failure to give notice of accident by quickest means and leaving the scene of an accident.

Nov. 9

Neal Kenney, 33, of Rockland was arrested on a warrant and cited for three counts of theft and three counts of criminal trespass.

Nov. 10

Thomas Scofield, 23, of Jefferson was cited for speeding 43 mph in a 30 mph zone and failure to show proof of insurance.

Nov. 12

Jian Ping Qian, 42, of Thomaston was cited for speeding 44 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Nov. 14

Merrill Chapman, 24, of Warren was arrested for violating a condition of release.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Chief Haj's tip of the week: The winter parking ban begins Dec.1 and runs to April 1 from midnight at 6 a.m. For municipal lots the ban is from Nov. 15 to April 1 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., if it's snowing. Watch for black ice as temperatures drop.
