Thomaston — The Thomaston Police Department responded to the following activity Jan. 2-13:

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings

Jan. 2

Thomas Winchenbach, 20, of Thomaston, was summoned for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.

Jan. 5

Brian Day, 33, of Rockland was summoned for operating after suspension.

Cheyenne Montgomery, 18, of St. George was summoned for imprudent speed.

Jan. 8

Matthew Catalano, 32, of Rockland was arrested on two warrants.

Jan. 9

Judith Cooper, 71, of St. George was arrested for operating under the influence.

Jan. 10

Zachary Elwell, 18, of Warren was summoned for speeding 43 mph in a 25 mph zone.

Jan. 13

Shawn Brewer, 32, of Waldoboro was arrested on eight warrants, theft, and violating a condition of release.
