Thomaston man arrested for OUI with child in vehicle
Rockland — Rockland Police arrested a 41-year-old Thomaston man during the weekend for operating under the influence and endangering the welfare of a child.
Dennis Davis was intoxicated and driving while a young child was in the vehicle, said police. Davis was apprehended on Union Street at 1:29 a.m. by Officer Andrew Redden and Don Finnegan.
Rockland Police Deputy Chief Wally Tower said the child was young enough to be in a car seat, and that Davis is the child's parent.
Dennis Davis was released on $600 cash bail from the Knox County Jail March 29.
Tower said a report on the case has not been finalized.
