Thomaston announces last Story Hours of season

Thomaston — The Thomaston Public Library will be hosting the last Story Hours of the season Thursday, June 5, 12, and 19, at 11 a.m.

On June 5, visitors will have a baseball cookie snack, play a couple of ball games, and make a baseball craft.

On June 12, there will be a teddy bear picnic. Bring a lunch and the library will provide a snack and beverage. Participants will sing teddy bear songs, make paper bag puppets and read the story "Teddy Bear Picnic," by Jimmy Kennedy. Bring a teddy bear or favorite stuffed animal along to the picnic!

On June 19, participants will read about ocean creatures and making jellyfish and sea turtles out of egg cartons and on June 23, the summer reading program begins with a week of playground fun and activities with lunches provided. Sign up to receive a voucher for a Sea Dogs baseball game.
