Thomas B. Chisholm
Mount Dora, Fla. — Thomas Bailey Chisholm, 82, passed away on Sept. 21, 2012.
He was born April 26, 1930 in Rockland and graduated from Rockland High School. He briefly served the military at the end of World War II. He held a position on the Rockland police force before trying his hand at running Chisholm's Shoe Store on Main Street in Rockland.
Thomas left Rockland to seek work in Connecticut, where he worked for Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford as a fireman for more than 25 years.
After retiring, he moved to Florida where he remained the rest of his life.
Thomas was married to Carolyn May Steeves, who was his lifelong companion. Carolyn has preceeded Tom in death, along with his sons, Thomas Lawrence and Bradford Bryant.
He leaves behind his children, Linda Gushee, Pamela Bellisario, Luann Doremus, Edward Chisholm, Greg Chisholm, their spouses, and numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
God rest his soul.
