Think Facebook is just for kids? Think again.
My 89 year old grandmother, Louise Kinney, and I watched what all of her grandkids are doing on Facebook this weekend, and her friend requests list was full of people she was excited to connect with. A May 2010 study by the Pew Internet & American Life project reveals that Louise isn't alone. Usage among internet users ages 50 and older nearly doubled during the past year, from 22% to 42%.What are they doing?
What does this mean to you? If you're a business owner - you need to strongly consider Facebook as part of your marketing strategy. And, if you don't use it yourself or understand the business applications, seek out assistance. At Capture Media Associates, we help businesses every day market themselves online - VERY successfully. And, we'd be happy to help you too!
We have free seminars scheduled over the next six weeks in Belfast, Bar Harbor and Ellsworth with Rockland coming soon. Let us know what your questions are, and what you'd like to see in a seminar on our site.
