There is Still Time to Register for a Summer Course at UMaine Hutchinson Center

Have you come home from college this summer?  Want to jump ahead in your course work or make up a class?  Perhaps you want to take a course just for fun or you have an interest in the subject.  At the UMaine Hutchinson Center, you get small classes, student-centered teachers, individualized attention, WIFI and computer labs, science labs, close to home, and more.


We still have space in the following courses for Summer 2013:

BIO100 - Basic Biology and Lab,  MAT 101- Mathematics, MAT 126- Calculus I, PAX 495- Advanced Topics of Peace and Reconciliation, PAX 598- Independent Graduate Study, and SMS 110-Concepts in Oceanography and Lab.



Have you been holding off taking a math class?  Then you can benefit from our small classes, individualized instruction and instructors who teach to different learning styles.  These math classes include: 
MAT 101-The Nature & Language of Math
MAT122- Pre-Calculus
MAT126- Calculus

Need a Psychology classes this summer?  There are two to choose: PSY100  General Psychology and PSY470  History & Systems in Psychology.

The Hutchinson Center is offering a one week (3 credit) Peace and Reconciliation course to consider for professional development, college credit or career enhancement:  PAX 495 Sustainable Communication:  Theory & Practice of Nonviolent Communication the week of 7/29 to 8/2 (this course may able be taken for graduate credit as PAX 598)
