Theater camp set for CRMS
Camden — Star Struck Summer Theater Camp is accepting applications for its four summer sessions for boys and girls in fifth through eighth grades. The four sessions will run Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon in the Camden-Rockport Middle School Mini-Theater, 34 Knowlton St. There will be a maximum of 20 campers per session. Sessions are July 1 through 4; 8 through 11; 15 through 18; and 22 through 25.
Star Struck's instructors Ellen Curtis, Erma Colvin and Gussie Vaughn will teach movement, choreography and character development. In addition, campers will learn script writing, set design, props and costume design. Vaughn also will teach narratives and story telling skills. Daily activities will build upon each other, culminating in a short performance at the end of the week.
Registration deadline is Saturday, June 15. Camp fee is $100 per camper, with an additional $50 per week per camper for each additional session booked.
