The Positive Edition returns!Nominate someone in your community who inspires others
The newspaper is going positive ... again!
For one special Saturday edition, we are going to bring you more stories about heroes, community-minded volunteers, humanitarians and perhaps some more four-legged friends.
We received a lot of encouragement and good feedback from last year's first-ever Positive Edition, and that just made us want to do it again.
In conjunction with this special issue, we will give the annual Golden Weathervane Award to someone in the community who inspires us -- someone who volunteers time, helps the hungry or needy, goes above and beyond in good works. This person in your community may not even know anyone notices their good works.
Please fill in the form below explaining why your nominee deserves to receive the second annual Courier Publications Golden Weathervane Award. Online form is below and watch The Courier-Gazette and Camden Herald for snail mail forms to send in. Nominations for the Golden Weathervane Award are due March 14.
Email News Director Dan Dunkle at firstname.lastname@example.org or call him at 594-4401 ext. 122 with your ideas for positive news (snail mail at 91 Camden Street, Suite 403, Rockland, ME 04841).
