Rockland — The two Rockland offices of The First recently donated $606 to Broadreach Family & Community Services’ Youthlinks Program.

For 19 years the employees of The First have been dressing casually on Fridays in support of charitable organizations in communities where they provide financial services. The First employees who participate in the program make a contribution each Friday that they dress casually. At the end of each month, a donation is presented to an employee-nominated, non-profit organization.

Youthlinks Program Director Kristofer Koerber shared, “We are grateful for this generous support from the employees of The First and to their financial institution for providing this contribution and showing such community support. This donation will certainly be helpful to Youthlinks in carrying out our mission to provide quality after school and summer programs for area middle and high school students.”

Youthlinks is a program of Broadreach Family & Community Services, serving middle and high school students with a variety of after school and summer sessions.
