The Camden Herald to host May 15 candidate debate

Camden — The public is invited to a candidates debate, sponsored by The Camden Herald, to learn more about the six candidates seeking three seats on the Camden Select Board.

The debate will be held Monday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Camden-Rockport Middle School.

Seeking two three-year positions on the board are incumbent Donald White, Alison McKellar, Christian Wincklhofer and Robert Falciani. Board member James Heard did not seek re-election.

Looking to fill the remaining one year of a term held by Leonard Lookner, who passed away unexpectedly in February is his daughter Jenna Lookner and Stephen Beveridge.

The debate will be moderated by Courier Publications News Director Daniel Dunkle.
