Take this week's On The Line poll

By Staff | Jul 31, 2014

This week we are asking:

"Do you support tougher gun control laws?"

Some believe that in the wake of many mass killings around the nation, tougher background checks and restrictions on certain kinds of clips or assault weapons would save lives. Others strongly feel that the Second Amendment should be interpreted to allow gun ownership with little or no government regulation.

Where do you stand?

See our attached chart for results from our recent On The Line poll, concerning Rockland's proposed moratorium on building projects for buildings over 50 feet tall.

Results from recent polls along with the latest online poll are always available in the upper left corner of the homepage at Knox.villagesoup.com. Just click On The Line to take the poll and see results. Results are also published each week in The Courier-Gazette. Email any questions or suggestions to ddunkle@courierpublicationsllc.com.

It's very interesting, the polls generally show just the opposite of all the talk here. Silent majority.

Must have been NORO(North Rockland) residents, possible WERO(West Rockland) residents as SORO residents in the Pleasant Street area are against tall buildings.
