Sweet Tree creative workshops for adults
Hope — The Sweet Tree Arts Center, 4 Church St., an L3C arts and education center, is offering several workshops for adults in November, in addition to Amy Root’s Root Rhythms — Vision Voyage session that begins Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Cate Lamb will lead a three-part Upcycle workshop Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. including: Nov. 6, Trash to Treasure Jewelry; Nov. 13, Kumihimo, Japanese Braiding; and Nov 20, From Mints to Treasure. Cost is $25 per class plus $10 materials fee or $65 and fee for the series; bring a friend and share a 10 percent discount.
Holly Berry and Wendy Newcomb will lead a Decorative Paper Gift Bags, Tags, Boxes and Wrapping workshop Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Geared for teens and adults together or alone, cost is $55, which includes supplies; bring lunch.
Brianna McClintock will host a Sewing Circle Wednesdays, Nov. 6 and 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Material and supplies will be available for purchase; bring you own machine; beginners welcome. A donation is suggested to support Sweet Tree scholarship fund.
