Sweet Tree Arts announces fall programs
Hope — Sweet Tree Arts in Hope welcomes new mentors and programming this fall.
For children and families:
Preschool offerings include a new program collaborating with Hope Elephants on Tuesday mornings.
After school Morgan Kirkham will offer a multi age film program on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Chuck Nguyen offers Peaceful Warriors for ages 4-7 and 8-12 on Tuesday afternoons.
Jessica Day offers French and Music for pre-schoolers and Big Kids music for ages 5-8 on Tuesdays.
Lindsay Pinchbeck offers Art and Science opportunities for ages 5-8 on Thursdays and parent and child classes on Friday mornings.
Alexis Immariano leads Platforms and program for in-depth independent study and community action for eighth to 12 grade.
Home school families are also invited to participate in enrichment opportunities with Malcolm Brooks offering Musicianship and Composition. Brooks is also available for scheduled group lessons. Lisa Packard will be also offering French language and Permaculture for homeschool families. Pinchbeck will offer a multi-age drawing class.
An open house for home school families is scheduled for Friday, Sept 13, from 9 a.m. to noon at Sweet tree Arts , 4 Church St, Hope.
Registration is open for the fall session beginning Monday, Sept. 23.
Sweet Tree Arts also supports CTC STAR programming and will offer Exploration through the Arts and a Permaculture program for middle school students. Registration available through the schools.
Drop in open studio times this fall are Mondays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Adult workshops and creative opportunities starting in October will be listed shortly.

Friday, Sept 27, at 5 p.m. — Free Maine Arts Commission workshop, grant opportunities for young adults and educators.
Saturday, Oct. 12, from 9 to 11 a.m. — Café Des Artisted - Musicians and Artist
