Supernatural events in Rockport
Rockport — This month is Supernatural September at Rockport Public Library, 1 Limerock St., which will welcome Katherine Silva of Rockland, author of the Monstrum Chronicles, Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 6:30 p.m.
Silva is a Midcoast author of dark fiction, as well as a self-described connoisseur of coffee, and victim of crazy cat shenanigans. Her books are filled with supernatural horror, just right for a September evening. Her first book, “Vox,” was published in 2010; and her second, “Aequitas,” was nominated this year for the Maine Literary Award. Silva will discuss her series, sign books and maybe something more.
On Saturday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m., the library invites the public to meet author Jan DeLima. She will share her insights and her journey to publish her book, “Celtic Moon,” her first in the urban fantasy romance genre. She has lived in central Maine for 20 years and enjoys painting, graphic design and gardening.
Both events are free and open to the public. For more information, call the library at 236-3642.
