Camden — A chance to set sail under the gaining light of the longest day of the year takes place Saturday, June 21 on the schooner Olad.

The early morning cruise casts off from the Camden Public Landing at 4:15 a.m., for a two-hour sunrise sail.

"It's a great way to kick off the longest day of the year, being able to watch the sunrise over the islands of Penobscot Bay," Capt. Aaron Lincoln said.

Coffee, tea, pastries, muffins and fresh fruit will be provided. Cost for the cruise is $39.00.

For more information or to reserve a space contact the schooner Olad at (207) 236-2323 or email at info@maineschooners.com.

The Olad sails daily from Camden and operates from Memorial Day weekend to mid-October. The schooner offers historic two-hour cruises of Penobscot Bay as well as custom charters for up to 22 passengers.
