'Summer Run For Fun' wraps sixth week on trail

Odone, Russ earn top finishes for males, females respectively

Waldoboro — The sixth week of the Waldoboro Recreation Department's second annual "Summer Run For Fun" program was held Aug. 1 at Medomak Valley High School.

Aric Odone again was the top male finisher in 17 minutes and 34 seconds, while the fastest female was Angela Russ in 20:54.

The individual results for the 2.995-mile trail course were: 1, Odone, 17:34; 2, Joey Casas, 20:04; 3, Chris Pert, 18:59; 3, Nick Mahar, 20:45; 4, Ron Haney, 20:52; 5, Russ, 20:54; 6, Sheldon Main, 21:19; 7, Peter Rubenstien, 21:20; 8, Jon Bubar, 21:49; 9, Steve Frampton, 23:55; 10, Vern Demmons, 23:59; 11, Deb Dean, 25:41; 12, Sarah Andrus, 26:32; 13, Don Andrus, 26:43; 14, Kim Williams, 27:35; 15, Tami Casas, 28:39; 16, Randy Piper, 28:53; 17, Lindsay Harvey, 31:55; and 18, Giselle White, 34:31.

11-14 age group (2.016 miles): 1, Sam Russ, 16:57; 2, Alex Mahar, 17:02; 3, Jacob O’Connor, 17:36; 4, Bridgett Porter, 20:16; and 5, Acadia Calderwood, 22:37.

10-and-younger age group (1.037 miles): 1, Logan Odone, 8:13; 2, Chloe Harvey, 12:32; and 3, Finnegan Calderwood, 13:13.
