Studio crawl with The Collective
Rockland — On Saturday, May 24, the Farnsworth Art Museum’s Collective will host a studio crawl featuring visits to the studios of artists Meghan Chase, Freddy LaFage, Warren Seelig and Dudley Zopp. The tour will depart 9 a.m. from the Wyeth Center parking lot, Grace Street between Union and High streets, to return by 12:30 p.m.
The crawl will highlight the spaces of four Midcoast working artists. The first studio will be that of Zopp, a painter and installation artist in Lincolnville. The group will then travel to Belfast to visit the adjoining studios of painters Chase and LaFage; and end up back in Rockland at the subterranean studio of mixed media artist Seelig. The artists will be on site to introduce the group to their spaces, to their work and to their processes. Some walking and stairs required during the studio visits.
The fee for this event is $35; $25 for Farnsworth members; and $10 for members of The Collective. For more information or to register, call 596-6457, ext. 146, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
