Storm cancellations, postponements
The following have been canceled, closed or postponed due to the storm:
Rockland Elks Lodge 1008 Bingo has been canceled.
The talk by Kathi Langelier of Herbal Revolution, scheduled to be held at Lincolnville Public Library, has been postponed due to weather. It has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 13, at 7 p.m.
Waldoboro Business Association has been postponed to Wednesday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m. at Village Cafe and Bakery.
Rockland Rotary's 5:30 p.m. meeting at the Samoset Resort has been canceled.
The Good Tern Coop Board of Directors meeting has been canceled and rescheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 7 p.m. at the store.
Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce's Business Cafe has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 7, 8 to 9 a.m. at the chamber's Rockland office.
Public forum to discuss the 126th Legislative session in Augusta, scheduled for Feb. 28, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rockland City Hall has been postponed.
The poetry and self-publishing discussion with Russell Buker 7 p.m. at the Hope Library has been postponed to Thursday, March 7.
The Polar Plunge for Oceanside High School's Project Graduation, postponed from Feb. 9, will take place at 1 p.m. at Rockland's Snow Marine Park; participants must be signed in by 12:30 p.m. Note this is one hour earlier than previously announced.
