Start the year Dancing 4 Fun
Rockland — Dancing 4 Fun, the free weekly night of freestyle dancing, invites everyone to start 2013 on the right foot — make that feet. Dancing 4 Fun meets every Tuesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Studio Red, at the top of the stairs of the historic Odd Fellows building at 16 School St. The first session of 2013 will take place on New Year’s Day.
Dancing 4 Fun is run by people who love to dance to all kinds of music. It is neither a dance class nor a "social dance" but rather a place people can move any way they like for fun and health to all kinds of recorded music; attendees are welcome to being their own CDs or mp3 players to add their favorite dance tunes to the mix.
There is no fee for Dancing 4 Fun, although donations of any size are welcome to help cover the rent. Dancing is perhaps the most fun one can have exercising and is good for both body and soul. All ages are welcome.
