Spring Fling at Warren church
Warren — The Second Congregational Church will host its third annual Spring Fling Musical Sunday, April 27, at 3 p.m. It promises to be an entertaining afternoon with talented singers and musicians at the handicapped-accessible church, 252 Main St. in the village.
Popular duo Evelyn Anderson and Neil Stetson, veterans of the original Riverside Fellowship Club, will sing, accompanied by Rose & The Wayfaring Strangers. The Rusty Hinges, Tim Hill, Ron and Kathleen Anderson, Parson Wes Woodman, John Ruis, “Little” Richard Kinney, Melody Sainio, Wes Ames, Amber Hagin and the Sunday School children also will be on tap to provide some very enjoyable music.
The Rev. Andrew Stinson will emcee the show, directed by Nancy vanVuuren, music minister at Second Congregational. A “love offering” will be taken during the musical to benefit both the Caring and Sharing Sisters and Missions groups of the church for their outreach. After the musical, there will be refreshments and fellowship downstairs.
