Spoken word open mic in Union

Union — Vose Library, 392 Common Road, will host a spoken word open mic night on the third Thursday of the month February through April. The series will begin Feb. 20 at 7 p.m.

This evening will focus on the spoken word in all its variety. Each person will have up to seven minutes to speak. Everyone is invited to come share stories, excerpts, speeches, poems, essays and more, one’s own work or that of a favorite author.
