Spend vacation at Thomaston library

Thomaston — Coming up during April vacation week are a number of fun activities and stories for children.

Starting on the day following Patriots’ Day, there will be fun in the children’s room beginning at 11 a.m.

On Tuesday, April 22 meet an animal from the Knox County Humane Society as Tracy Sala and friends visit the library and read a story about pets.

On April 23, learn about things that float and experience some buoyancy fun.

On Thursday, April 24 come and experience songwriting first hand as David Hynd of Playin’ Possum band does a musical workshop in the kids’ room.

April 25, join Jess Day and Megan Rogers of Midcoast Music Together to sing, dance and learn, starting at 11 a.m.
