Waldoboro — Medomak Middle School held its school spelling bee Jan. 10.

Seventh-grader Courtney Day was the winner and runner up was seventh-grader Noah Munn. Seventh-grader Alyie Spraque will serve as alternate.

Day and Munn will represent Medomak Middle School at the Lincoln County Bee to be held in Thursday, Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. at Great Salt Bay Community School in Damariscotta.
