Rockland — March 24 was a Fishy Family Fun Night for South School staff and families.

In the spirit of the maritime community and South School’s mascot, the Starfish, the night’s theme was marine life. Even the door prizes were a little fishy as kids were able to win a beta fish to take home.

Students and their families played math games like Family Fishing and Fish Estimation, as well literacy games such as Write & Tell a Fish Tale and Fish Boggle.

Students also enjoyed exploring in a touch tank provided by the Darling Center in Boothbay Harbor.
