Join ReVision Energy for a solar open house on Thursday, August 23rd from 7-8pm at 78 Village Road, Belfast.

Come see how active and passive solar can help cut energy bills and still live comfortably. Belfast Co-housing and Ecovillage homeowners Joline Blais & Jon Ippolito will showcase how active and passive solar are meeting their energy needs. A solar hot water system heats their domestic hot water and a grid-tied solar electric installation provides renewable electricity. The home, designed by GO Logic of Belfast, uses the Passive House concept, a highly insulated building heated primarily by passive solar gain.

The open house is a chance for those interested in active and passive solar design to come and see it first-hand. Representatives from both ReVision Energy and GO Logic will be present; a tour of the home will be given by the homeowners with question and answers to follow.

Light snacks will be provided. The event is free and all are welcome. Please plan to meet at the home at 7 pm.
