Shakespeare Society starts new season

Sep 21, 2012

Rockland — The Shakespeare Society will begin its 2012-2013 season Monday, Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. in the Friends Community Room of Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St.

The group will read “Troilus and Cressida” during the fall months and “Love’s Labour’s Lost” in the spring. All residents of the Midcoast area are welcome to attend meetings.  The group, organized in 1889 and continuing to the present, offers congenial, non-threatening opportunities for its members to read and discuss most of the Bard’s famous works.
