More and more women around the world are rising up against violence. Young Malala Yousafazl, who was shot by the Taliban for her advocacy of education for girls, says that God has given her a "'second life" through which she "can serve the people."

Even in developed countries, many women still face discrimination in legal rights, employment opportunities, and social status.

Does prayer have a role in this spiritual journey to equality?

Mary Baker Eddy, who discovered Christian Science and founded her church at a time when women preachers weren't welcome in the pulpit, offers many helpful thoughts to those seeking more opportunities for women in her book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. To learn more about how prayer and Christian Science can benefit both women and men, join this chat.
