Rockport — More than 40 senior citizens from the area enjoyed the annual luncheon put on by The Samoset Resort Dec. 13.

The resort has been organizing the luncheon for more than 20 years — served up by the more than 15 members of management team.

Residents from Bartlett Woods, Rankin Center, Methodist Conference Center, Knox Hotel Apartments, Stella Maris, and 63 Washington Street braved the cold to enjoy traditional holidays songs by Oceanside High School-East Chorus, along with a visit by Santa.
