About two years ago, the Searsport Ambulance started asking for donations of used medical equipment that could be used by others needing such. The response has been great and many donated articles are in use by others. Right now, there is a need for wheelchairs. If you have one that is not being used and would like to donate it to the ambulance, contact Cory at 548-2302. If you know of a Searsport resident in need of medical equipment (walkers, etc.) contact Cory and see if they have it. There is no charge for the use of the equipment.
A reminder that warm coats can be dropped off at the Dan Rich Public Safety Building.
Feel free to pass this on to interested people.
