A good night’s sleep is vital to one's mood, productivity, and vitality. Ever find yourself, night after night, wrestling and fighting for even small amounts of shut-eye? Lay in bed for minutes or hours on end, listening to the clock ticking, getting increasingly angry and frustrated that sleep will not come?

CBT for Insomnia is based on more than 20 years of research and clinical practice by Gregg Jacobs, PhD, at Harvard Medical School and the University of Massachusetts, and is based on a central theme: insomnia can only be treated by addressing the underlying causes, changing thoughts and behaviors around sleep. Participants can expect to learn the biology of sleep and the stress response system, how to challenge sleep thoughts and behaviors, sleep scheduling, lifestyle habits, and relaxation techniques that improve sleep.
