Root Rhythms at Sweet Tree Arts
Hope — Amy Root of Hope will offer a six-week Root Rhythms — Vision Voyage workshop that will meet Tuesdays at 6 p.m. beginning Nov. 5 at Sweet Tree Arts, 4 Church St.
Root’s workshop provides a path to connecting with to one’s healthiest spirit, opening the doors to feeling good again and welcoming in healthier habits, movement, exercise and art. Each week, participants will explore one simple shift and, through a creative voyage, personalized plans will unfold. Hope resident, Root earned a MPH in Community Health Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2000; and a BS in Health and Fitness from Springfield College in 1993. She is a certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise and is a YogaFit Instructor. Through a variety of mixed media and methods, Root motivates and inspires groups and individuals to create a deeper commitment to bringing joy to their lives. On a personal level, she is a triathlete, avid trail runner and mother to two active girls.
