Rockport Masonic Center Opens Doors to Feed Veterans
Veteran-Someone who has sacrificed more then some may ever know for the benefit of their town, city or country. We Thank You for your dedicated service!
Perhaps not the best description but an accurate one none the less. To show a small token of thanks to area Veterans the Rockport Masonic Center will open its doors on November 12th to serve a free beef stew dinner to any Veteran who wishes to come to the center.
The center will open its doors and begin serving at 4pm and will go until 530pm or until the stew is gone. Along with the stew there will be home made biscuits, coffee, iced tea and dessert available.
According to Jeff Sukeforth, secretary, this dinner is open to any Veteran whether they have a Masonic affiliation or not. The center is located at 361 Main Street which is just up the road from the Simonton Corner 4-way stop signs. If anyone would like further information on this dinner plese call Jeff at 691-2270.
