Rockport — Rockport Select Board members are scheduled to meet again Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 4 p.m. in executive session to discuss a personnel issue.

The meeting marks the fourth executive session since Dec. 31, following Select Board Chairman William Chapman's receipt of a complaint on Dec. 28 about a town employee. Selectmen met in executive session for about an hour following the regular meeting Jan. 14 at Rockport Opera House. No vote was taken following that session and the meeting immediately adjourned, according to Town Manager Robert Peabody.

Jan. 2, the motion "to hire an investigator to investigate a personnel matter in a complaint received Dec. 28" was approved, according to Chapman. He declined to identify the investigator.

Executive sessions are not open to the public and town officials have declined to reveal any details regarding the nature of the complaint, citing the personnel matter.
