According to the release, Main Street will close between Park and Talbot at 3 PM Saturday, June 21st, and anyone parked on Main Street of its feeder streets at that time must remain there until the street reopens at 8 PM.  I hope the courtesy of forewarning with marked detour routes will be extended to visitors going and coming to and through Rockland so they will not be inconvenienced, and that all restaurants and hotels will alert arriving patrons of the street closure well in advance.

The rules also state:  please do not come and set up without talking to Paul benjamin (this includes music, food, or other wares or services). You wlil more than likely be asked to leave."  In the past, some people have played music spontaneously on the street.
