Rockland — An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

The Rockland Police Department responded to the following complaints from Nov. 10 to Nov. 16.

Nov. 10

Officer Lloyd Daniels responded to a car crash at the Circle K convenience store at the intersection of Camden and Front streets.

Officer Daniels responded to a harassment complaint on Rankin Street.

Officer Daniels responded to a criminal mischief complaint at Domino's Pizza on Park Street.

Animal Control Officer Jeff McLaughlin responded to an animal problem on Carrolls Lane.

Sgt. Anthony Camporiale responded to a theft complaint at J.C. Penney on Maverick Street.

Officer William Smith responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Limerock Street.

Nov. 11

Officer James Jillson responded to a hit-and-run car crash in the parking lot near Staples.

Thomas J. Foy, 53, of Rockland was arrested for violating a condition of release.

Nov. 12

Officer Jillson responded to a car accident in the Camden National Bank parking lot. There were no injuries.

Officer Jillson responded to a theft complaint by the community center.

Officer Jillson responded to an assault complaint at Fieldcrest apartments.

Officer Andrew Redden responded to a theft complaint on Main Street.

Officer Redden responded to a theft complaint at Goodwill.

Sgt. Matthew Lindahl responded to a car accident in the parking lot by Staples. There were no injuries.

Sgt. Lindahl responded to a disorderly complaint on Myrtle Street.

Officer Redden responded to an animal problem at Park and South Main streets.

Sgt. Kenneth Smith responded to an animal problem on Myrtle Street.

Officer Redden responded to a drug problem by Maverick and Birch streets.

Amy Thompson, 34, of Warren was arrested for violating a condition of release.

Sgt. Matthew Lindahl responded to a car crash on Maverick Street at the intersection with the entrance to the Harbor Plaza Shopping Center. Police said a 2005 Subaru station wagon, driven by Joanna Calderwood, 60, of Tenants Harbor, turned left from the entrance and was heading south on Camden Street. A 2008 Chrysler van heading north and driven by Esther A. Darres, 58, of Waldo, struck the Calderwood vehicle. Calderwood reported having a green light while Darres said she didn't notice the color of the light. Damage to Calderwood's vehicle was estimated at $8,000 and damage to Darres' vehicle was estimated at $3,500.

Nov. 13

Officer Redden responded to a domestic complaint on North Main Street.

Sgt. Anthony Camporiale responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Main Street.

Officer James Jillson responded to a theft complaint at Conte's restaurant.

Officer Jillson responded to a stray animal complaint on Main Street.

Officer Jillson responded to a hit-and-run car crash in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Officer Andrew Redden responded to a theft complaint on Lindsey Street.

Nov. 14

Officer Daniels responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Main Street.

Sgt. Kenneth Smith responded to a parking problem at Routes 17 and 90.

Officer Redden responded to a car crash on Park Street. There were no injuries.

Officer Redden responded to a harassment complaint on Lovejoy Street.

Sgt. Matthew Lindahl responded to a disorderly complaint on Olympic Avenue.

Shaun Grant, 29, of Rockland was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Thomas Foy, 56, of Rockland was arrested for violation of condition of release.

Ellen Lazaro-Beckman, 23, of Rockland was issued a summons for speeding (58 mph in a 40 mph zone) on Old County Road.

Nov. 15

Sgt. Lindahl responded to a car crash on Myrtle Street. There were no injuries.

Officer Joel Neal responded to a vehicle striking a deer on Route 17 near Chickawaukie Pond. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to the vehicle. The fate of the deer was not reported.

Sgt. Smith responded to a car crash on Broad Street in which a 2006 Toyota pickup truck driven by Andrew Walsh, 30, of South Berwick was driving south on Broad Street near the intersection with Park Street. Walsh leaned over to pick up something from the passenger side of the vehicle and steered off the road, striking a utility pole. The pole was snapped at the base. He was not injured. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000.

Officer Daniels responded to a car crash on Waldo Avenue near the intersection with Camden Street.

Officer Daniels responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Suffolk Street.

Officer Daniels responded to a threatening complaint at Wal-Mart.

Officer Daniels responded to a theft complaint at Rockland Savings and Loan.

Officer Daniels responded to a car crash at Main and Rankin streets.

Officer William Smith responded to a disorderly complaint on North Main Street.

Officer Smith responded to a trespassing complaint at Achorn Cemetery.

Officer Smith responded to a trespassing complaint at Johnson Memorial Park at Chickawaukie Pond.

Corey Kundert, 21, of Spruce Head was arrested on a probation hold.

Nov. 16

Officer Daniels responded to a car crash at Cedar and Camden streets. There were no injuries.

Officer Daniels checked on an abandoned vehicle on Limerock Street.

Officer Daniels responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Bog Road.

Officer Smith responded to a harassment complaint on North Main Street.

Officer Smith responded to a car crash at the intersection of Route 17 and Old County Road. There were no injuries.

Rockland police were busy with issuing tickets for failure to wear seat-belt violations. Officer William Smith issued tickets for these violations on Nov. 16 to Kegan Collins, 30, of Warren; Clifford Hilchey, 30, of South Thomaston; Tammy Collins, 25, of Appleton; Thomas Leeper, 42, of Hope; Owen Feener, 18, of Union; Amanda McLellan, 25, of Thomaston; Matthew Keller, 25, of Medford, Mass.; Jesse Breda, 25, of Hope; Walter Smith, 54, of Waldoboro; and Derek Hannan, 18, of Rockland.

Ben Huard, 35, of Albion was issued a ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign.

Edward Bernardo, 51, of Thomaston was issued a ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign.

Casey Collins, 25, of Rockland was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines.
