What is Numismatics? Numismatics is the study or collection of currency and the topic of discussion at the March 18th Rockland Kiwanis meeting with guest speaker, Barrie Jenkins. During this presentation we will learn that while numismatists are often characterized as students or collectors of coins, the discipline also includes the broader study of money and other payment media used to resolve debts and the exchange of goods.To learn more about numismatists, click here.
