A four course Scottish feast commemorating our most-loved Bard!
Whisky Tasting: ($30) 6 whiskies will be presented focusing on sherry finished whiskies with a couple of surprises thrown in.
Supper: ($55) Traditional Menu will be served with Venison Haggis presented by the steward and led in by our Piper with Cock-A-Leekie soup and Purry Neeps. The main course will be a traditional Scottish Salmon recipe accompanied by Rumbledethump and sauteed Swiss Chard. And of course a traditional Scottish dessert.
The Haggis will be honored with a recitation of Burns' Address to a Haggis recited in brogue. We will, of course have the traditional Toasts presented by various members of the Supper (if you would like to offer a toast, begin preparing now!!). And of course, lots of entertainment by the assembled company. With Celtic harps and a singing Scottish Deerhound there's been lots of rehearsing going on!
Reservations must be made ahead of time, with a cap of 24 guests for the Whisky tasting and 40 for Supper. 207-594-7644 or innkeeper@craignair.com
