Ronald and Kay Anderson

Warren — The Town of Warren will present a gala concert for all ages Sunday, Sept. 7, between 2 and 4 p.m. at the Woolen Mill Park on the downtown banks of the St. George River. The free concert of country music will feature Ronald and Kay Anderson & Friends.

Local musician Ronald Anderson has played guitar since age 14. Mainly self-taught, he played with the band Hawaiian-aires in the 1950s and other local  groups. He currently plays for dances with the Frye Mountain Band and, when in Florida, The Men in Black. He and Kay, his wife, also play for the church services and several nursing homes in the area.

Anderson has always had a love of music and string instruments, and the Sunday music will offer country, gospel and bluegrass. Playing and singing along with the Andersons will be Dick Philbook, Burt Hendricks, Nancy Jones, Neil Stetson and Joe Aery, Evelyn Anderson, and Bobby Delano.

Everyone is invited to bring along lawn chairs and enjoy an ice cream cone from the on-site ice cream wagon while listening to music along the river.
