Revolutionary Resolutions for 2014

Dec 22, 2013

Camden — New Year's resolutions that come from within, instead of those made with the "should" word in mind, are the ones that work.

Life Coach Nancy Lubin has experienced this "inside-out" principle in action and will share it during her 10th annual Revolutionary Resolutions Workshop Saturday, Jan. 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Teen Center, 10 Knowlton St., Camden. She is co-leading this workshop with Mediator and Family Counselor Judith Orme.

"We'll work together taking stock of 2013 and will do creative visioning exercises to help each person identify personal goals that are energizing, fun and achievable for 2014," said Lubin in a news release. "The best resolutions are driven by what's deeply satisfying and meaningful to each individual. They work because they stem from what truly motivates a person, rather than from the pressures of outside influences. This workshop will help people stay on track by defining strategies for achieving success throughout the next 12 months."

Many participants return to the workshop year after year, glad to have found a supportive community in which to explore their values, discover want they really want and develop solid support systems and action plans. They enjoy meeting their goals gradually throughout the year, instead of giving up on them after a few weeks.

Lubin lives in Camden and is the principal of Coach Associates. She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach as well as a certified Zentangle teacher. She is also a consultant, trainer, and aromatherapist. This year she kept her resolution to become certified as an aromatherapist. Judith Orme, LICSW, is a child development specialist, parent educator and counselor, dedicated to children and their families. She offers counseling and mediation services, workshops, teacher trainings, and parent coaching in Maine and New Hampshire. She recently made Midcoast Maine her permanent residence.

Advance registration is required. Coffee and tea will be provided. For costs and to register, call Nancy Lubin at 236-4069, or email Complete workshop details are available at:
