Residents give back to nurses

Rockland — During the 2014 Eliza Steele Mercy March, residents of Methodist Conference Home Apartments, Rankin Center and Knox Hotel Apartments collected bottles in support of the Rockland District Nurses Association.

Residents also played games with youth fasters participating in the Mercy March.

RDNA provides monthly blood pressure clinics and in-home, non-acute nursing services to many residents of the three apartment complexes MCH operates in Knox County. For many years, MCH and RDNA have jointly served seniors living independently in the community. Through its Meals on Wheels, housing, transportation and aging in place programs, MCH is committed to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities age in their homes for as long as possible.
