Renovations of The First complete
Rockland — Renovations to The First's 63 Union St. office are now complete.
The newly renovated space features state-of-the-art teller pods, designed for customer convenience.
“The pods open up the bank’s lobby, removing the traditional teller line barrier between customers and tellers. We want our office to have a very welcoming feel, and we think this design will help our staff achieve this mission,” said Daniel R. Daigneault, president and chief executive officer.
In addition to the pods, the office now has a community conference room with a separate entrance that allows outside groups to use the room during non-banking hours. Additional customer conveniences include Saturday and early open banking hours, two drive-up teller lanes, and a drive-up ATM.
The team at The First would like to thank its customers for their patience during the renovation, and they welcome the community in to see the newly remodeled office, which now includes a 75-gallon salt water fish tank on display in the lobby.
