Renaissance Feast rescheduled

Dec 06, 2013

Rockland — The Renaissance Feast sponsored by the Rockland Congregational Church, originally scheduled for Dec. 6, will take place Saturday, Jan. 4, in the fellowship hall in the lower level of the church at 180 Limerock St.

The feast will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the entrance of the King and Queen from the Boar's Head Festival of last January and include the musical minstrels; members of the Royal Court; Charlie, the pot bellied pig; and a performance by the Timbrel bell choir of the church.

Reservations are required to attend and may be made by calling 594-8656. Tickets are $15, a reduction in price, but all donations will be appreciated. Net proceeds will benefit the animals of Zabby's Farm who regularly appear in the Boar's Head show.
