Remodeled ReStore reopens

May 08, 2014

Rockport — Midcoast Habitat for Humanity ReStore will host a Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Shoppers will save 10 percent off their entire purchase of furniture, appliances, building materials and more.

With nearly 5,000-square-feet of space, customers can enjoy great savings off normal retail costs while supporting Midcoast Habitat for Humanity. By selling donated building supplies, appliances and furniture (both new and used), the ReStore provides funds for the construction of houses and organizational growth. Midcoast Habitat provides a hand-up, rather than a hand-out, to home ownership. In addition, the Midcoast ReStore has diverted more than 180 tons of waste from landfills.

From mid-century antiques to shabby chic treasures, the stock is always changing.

Cash, checks, debit cards, Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Donation drop-offs can be made during store hours, or by items call 236-6123 to schedule a pick-up. Donations are tax-deductible.

For more information about Midcoast Habitat and the ReStore, opportunities to donate and volunteer, visit midcoasthabitat.org or call 236-6123. The store is located on Route 90 across from Tolman Pond in Rockport.
